YAHOO! May Have Found an Adequate way of Responding to the Commotion Created in IT by Chase Alias' aliases and Alter Art

Updates to Yahoo Profile

Yahoo Profile ( no longer exists. But don't worry - your comments on various Yahoo properties didn't disappear! Most relevant settings are now in your account settings. We simply removed the ability to view public profiles and the “about me” and “my interests” sections.

Yahoo Profile was created to let you view public info about others. With Yahoo, you could check out profile pictures, nicknames, and comment histories as well as manage your own publicly visible settings. It never quite took off. Very few people look at other people's public profiles, so we switched our focus to the things that matter to you most.

What does this mean for you?

You can still post comments on the various Yahoo properties and your Yahoo nickname and profile pic still exist.
Right now, you aren't able to edit your profile pic or nickname from within your account settings. We greatly appreciate your patience while we work to create new ways to personalize your account.
Thank you! Your feedback has successfully been submitted.
